In olden days, the traditional methods used to make Indian spices were the finest. Keeping this is mind, Vasant Masala combines ancient techniques and latest technologies with the vision of delivering the purest. The company's mascot too shows the picture of rural women making spices, which is dedicated to Smt. Vasantiben Bhandari. She devoted her entire life in bringing up this company like a child, owing to which the company's values are reflected in the following line,

A Brief History

In India, a wide variety of seeds, leaves, fruits and bases are available. The annual production of the same amounts to approximately 30 million tonnes. Turmeric, chilly powder, etc. are some of the basic spices that are used in most of the preparations. Keeping this in mind, in the year 1970, Shri. Bapulal Bhandari started a home industry in a village named Jhalod in Gujarat. Jhalod being located close to the boundaries of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, helped spread the superiority of spices to these states as well. Gradually, 'Vasant' spices became a known name in the market. The name 'Vasant' is derived from Shri Bapulalj's wife's name - Smt. Vasantiben. She was always an inspiration and a vital pillar for 'Vasant'.

Vasant Today

Continuing on this inspiration, Vasant adopted packaged spices and other advanced technologies. And gradually it spread its wings not only in India but across the globe. Vasant spices home industry and Vasant Spices Pvt. Ltd. started under the name "Vasant Masala" from December 2007. The founder of the company, Shri Bapulalji passed away in December 2004. After his demise, the responsibility of Vasant Masala fell on the shoulders of his 4 sons - Shri Chandrakant Bhandari, Shri Omprakash Bhandari, Shri Rajkamal Bhandari and Shri Ashish Bhandari. Today, they continue to take the legacy of taste and health ahead forward through the medium of Vasant spices.

The Promise Of Quality

When the company's very promise is 'Shudhta aisi, mamta jaisi', it is only obvious that its top priority is to maintain the purity and superiority of spices. For this, the company has created a special laboratory to quality-check the products. Only after meeting the purity standards here, are the spices taken ahead for packaging. Not only this, purity is even taken care of while buying the raw ingredients. Also, to do some taste of idea new with spices, the company continuously undertakes various researches.

What makes 'Vasant' spices different from others is also the fact that to keep up the superiority of products, it takes extreme care of toxins. Toxins are those unwanted particles in spices or ingredients. There can be several reasons for the presence of toxins - inappropriate storage, transportation or cultivation of land. But all of these taste of idea are taken care of when it comes to 'Vasant' spices. Despite of this, if there are toxins found in the ingredients, they are not used for production.
